Robotic Duct Cleaning, Inspection & Video Taping

Once relegated to the world of science fiction, the use of robotics is now commonplace. The rise of these sophisticated machines and their inherent technology is nothing short of astounding.

From vacuum cleaners made to keep our home's carpets cleaned, to high tech devices used in times of war, robotics often are invaluable in their ability to reach places typically restricted from use by man.

In the case of robotics in the Indoor Air Quality industry, this advantage has never been more the case.

The use of robotics for your commercial and industrial duct inspections and cleaning is unmatched by any manual technique of doing the same. A robotic duct inspections and cleaning, quite simply, are of much higher quality than the traditional manual techniques.

CORE's dedicated robots are capable of traveling through 100 feet of duct system, documenting their findings all along the way. Our remote controlled robots are equipped with two cameras, one pointing forward and the other pointing back. While the forward camera allows a perfect view of the surroundings, the camera at the back helps the robots navigate out the ducts safely. We also employ the use of a pivotal recording camera mounted on the top of our robots, allowing us to record the job being done.

This type of advanced technology and cleaning power is not reserved for just anyone. Robotic work, as one would assume, must be carried out by trained professionals - and CORE fits the bill with our firmly established leadership role in the HVAC market and respected accreditations we hold from the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) and International Kitchen Exhaust Association (IKECA).

Advantages of Robotic Duct Cleaning and Inspections
  • The robot records, in real time, the actual conditions within the interior of the ducts, helping technicians decide on the appropriate actions to clean the ductwork.
  • Greater access and mobility helps to ensure that inspections are completed in the most thorough manner, while simultaneously providing our clients with accurate documentation of the state of the interior of their duct systems.
  • In addition to increased accessibility, robotic duct cleaning and inspection also better ensures that particulate air pollutants are effectively removed from their often gaseous medium in the ventilation system.
  • The use of robotics and its powerful duct cleaning and inspection projects can be augmented with the help of CORE's high resolutions boroscopes and high intensity lighting.
  • The use of robot reduces the extent of labor involved in the cleaning process, which can aid in the reduction of cleaning costs associated with traditional duct cleaning.
  • Before and After – Quite possibly the most powerful advantage of all. Our clients tell us all the time that the images of the interior of the duct prior to cleaning, as opposed to after are worth a thousand words. CORE is proud to stand behind this type of work and encourages our clients to review the finished job and ascertain for themselves that the job has been completed to their satisfaction.
An Accurate Assessment Of The Task At Hand ... Before the Job Begins

Before beginning a robotic duct cleaning assignment, the accredited professionals at CORE perform an inspection of the interior of the duct. The highlights of the inspection are transferred to a CD, from which the results can be viewed by our clients. This simple, yet rarely utilized step in our Duct cleaning and inspection services allows our clients to view the areas that need special attention before the cleaning phase even begins.

The Importance of Working With a State Licensed Air Conditioning Contractorstate-licensed-air-conditioning-contractor

To deal with the problems arising from slowly deteriorating IAQ, commercial and industrial facilities need to ensure that the AC ducts are cleaned and serviced regularly and that their equipment has been optimized in accordance with ASHRAE standards.

The reality is that with so much at stake, it does not pay to work with unlicensed contractors who often lack the education, hands-on training and cutting edge technologies granted by state licensing.

As a certified member in good standing of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), Core is an industry leading HVAC service provider and offers varied services to improve ventilation and system optimization. In addition, Core offers repair, maintenance and often total system replacements to industrial and commercial facilities.
